When The Woodland Spa at Crow Wood in Burnley began its £24 million transformation, the vision was a sanctuary where modern luxury meets natural calm. They needed a joinery and fit out partner who could hold that balance across a complex, high-specification building.
The brief
The interiors had to flow out to the woodland around them, so every piece of furniture and joinery had to feel natural, luxurious and made for its room. The hydrotherapy pool, treatment suites and relaxation areas each brought their own technical demands on top.
How we delivered it
We worked with the architects and interior designers from the start. CNC machining gave the precision; hand-applied finishes brought out the natural grain the design depended on. Corian was specified for hygienic, joint-free surfaces on the reception desks, vanity stations and feature areas, fabricated and fitted by our certified team. Humidity-resistant joinery in the wet areas, banquette seating in the relaxation lounge and the locker room joinery were all made in our own workshop.
The result
The transformation was delivered on schedule, and the spa has since become an award-winning destination, with our joinery a featured part of the interiors.
